Arogno is located on a high plateau in the Val Mara, about 2 km (1.2 mi) from the Italian border near the enclave of Campione. It consists of the village of Arogno and many hamlets including Pugerna. Arogno has an area, as of 1997, of 8.5 square kilometers (3.3 sq mi). Source: Wikipedia
